AI-MATTERS is a European network of test and experimentation facilities that aims to strengthen the resilience and flexibility of the European manufacturing sector, taking advantage of the latest developments in AI, robotics and intelligent, autonomous systems for flexible production.

Steps of cooperation
What is the experience of using an AI-MATTERS service like?
What can you win?
If you have at least one of the following:
✓ Existing technology or solution (AI) (TRL 4 and above) and relevant know-how, or
✓ Request for validation of your AI-based product, solution or service in a production environment; or
✓ Desire to optimize your production process, or
✓ Dealing with a challenge due to lack of staff, or
✓ Need or challenge to improve quality, or
✓ Need access to relevant use cases or data on the maturation of your product up to TRL-8, or
✓ Need to understand how to apply new technology without investment, or
✓ Relevant use case or data from your production environment.
You will get at least one of the following:
✓ Access to our facilities and infrastructure to integrate and test your solution in a real production environment
✓ Access to production companies, use cases and/or data
✓ Evaluation and feedback from potential users in the production sector
✓ Opportunity to mature your solution based on the results of the experiments
✓ Access to technology experts and demonstration projects
✓ Proof of concept (including reference) as a result of experimentation

How we support collaborative testing and experimentation:
AI-MATTERS offers various ways to support collaborative testing and experimentation, taking advantage of TEF facilities across Europe:
- We offer testing of technological solutions in a production environment in our laboratories,
- We develop use cases and collect data from end users to improve and validate solutions, and/or
- We organise collaborative experiments between end-users and technology providers.
AI-MATTERS focuses on applied research, such as technology validation in laboratory or industrial environments, demonstrations, prototyping and system certification.
