AI-MATTERS – The world-class test and experimentation facility reference network for the industrial sector
AI-Matters aims to boost the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in European manufacturing industries by bringing together a consortium of 24 major organisations from eight European countries (Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain) to create a world-class reference network of test and experimentation facilities (TEFs) for the manufacturing industry.
The main objective of AI-Matters is to strengthen Europe’s position and leadership in the adoption of AI systems. By bringing robotics and other advanced technologies to realistic environments and at scale, the consortium aims to bring about drastic transformations in EU production systems.
The AI MATTERS network, with a total budget of €60 million, is co-funded by the European Commission under theDigital Europe programme. Europe programme), as well as from national and regional resources.
It offers over 250 testing and experimentation services to technology providers, system installers and manufacturing companies. These services are divided into 4 challenges: Circular Economy, Plant Level Optimization, Human-Robot Interaction and Other Advanced Cutting Edge Technologies.
